We use approx 138.5 billion gallons of gasoline a year at an average of tax 48.1 per gallon the gov gets between $65.5 and $65.6Billion a year. These r just 2 of the taxes we as americans pay. My point 2 this article is stop using our taxes 2 do things it was not intended 4.
Nationally, there were a total of 510,497 popularly elected state and local officials in 1992. 2010 census report 308M let's say there r now 520,000 positions with an average cost 2 us of $75,000 each that is $38B a year. At 520,000 there is 1 elected position for every 592 people that's not including non elected positions fire, police, etc. That # 592 is men, ladies, and children. They are less than 1% of the American population. R u tired of less than 1% of the American people ruling u and spending ur hard earned $$$$ but my opinion is mine & should b policy if it is the will of the people, if it is not the will of the people it will not be. Over $3Billion spent last year for appointed positions n federal gov,(17828 Positions who make $180,000 or more) positions held consist of 80% doctors, 6% attorneys, 3% dentist, and 2% financial institution examiners.
Property taxes $12000 on 2 acres n herrin illinois and a $300,000 home. Same acreage same exact home after he sold the 1st built n cape girardeau missouri $4500. Washington state SE corner 5200 sq ft 400 acres 3 big barns $9500. 8 acres and a single wide trailer between johnston city illinois and west frankfort illinois $3300 nothing else on the land. Cairo illinois a town of about 3000 men women and children saved, but at what cost, damages r expected to b $4Billion when letting the town go would have cost much less. 3000 people is high but u will get the idea 3000x$100,000=$300Million that is much less than $4B.

8. $90 Billion Dollars a year is spent on illegal aliens for Welfare & social services by the American taxpayers.
9. $200 Billion dollars a year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens.

In 2006, illegal aliens sent home $45 BILLION in remittances to their countries of origin. $ 338.3 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR AND IF YOU'RE LIKE ME, HAVING TROUBLE UNDERSTANDING THIS AMOUNT OF MONEY; IT IS $338,300,000,000.00 WHICH WOULD BE ENOUGH TO STIMULATE THE ECONOMY FOR THE CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY.
Dominion Virginia power has filed requests for 3 rate increases to help cover the cost of its warren county power station. The cost is $1.1B the CEO Thomas F Farrell II is paid and compensated over $10M a yr or $60M for 5 yrs. St Paul Minnesota plans to spend $300M to upgrade roads around where the new Vikings stadium is planned to be built. The Vikings has approx $200M a year in revenue, the owner and 5 partners bought the team in 2005 for $600M in 2009 its estimated value was $835M. Columbus Ohio and Penn National Gaming have reached a settlement where the casino will allow the city to annex them in, and the taxpayers will pay $15M to cover the cost of the developers cleanup and road improvements. Peter M. Carlino, CEO was compensated just shy of $9.5M in 2010. $14.398Bis approx what we spent or plan to spend in the near future or this month thanks to our elected officials on stadiums, new lawns, just to name a few.
