June 2011 newsletter

There is no such thing as extra terrestrials how do I know this, cause if there was we would have given them foreign aid and we haven't done that yet.
$2Trillion was talked bout this mornin on cspan for infrastructure roads bridges high speed rail mass transit airports. But they r not planning on paying 4 it with $$$ they already get they want new taxes and higher ones like a tax on how many miles u drive a vehicle One commercial truck pays approx $20,000 n taxes a year there r approx 3Million commercial trucks on the rd 2day that means the gov get approx $60B a year. We use approx 138.5 billion gallons of gasoline a year at an average of tax 48.1 per gallon the gov gets between $65.5 and $65.6Billion a year. These r just 2 of the taxes we as americans pay. My point 2 this article is stop using our taxes 2 do things it was not intended 4.
Nationally, there were a total of 510,497 popularly elected state and local officials in 1992. 2010 census report 308M let's say there r now 520,000 positions with an average cost 2 us of $75,000 each that is $38B a year. At 520,000 there is 1 elected position for every 592 people that's not including non elected positions fire, police, etc. That # 592 is men, ladies, and children. They are less than 1% of the American population. R u tired of less than 1% of the American people ruling u and spending ur hard earned $$$$ but my opinion is mine & should b policy if it is the will of the people, if it is not the will of the people it will not be. Over $3Billion spent last year for appointed positions n federal gov,(17828 Positions who make $180,000 or more) positions held consist of 80% doctors, 6% attorneys, 3% dentist, and 2% financial institution examiners.
Property taxes $12000 on 2 acres n herrin illinois and a $300,000 home. Same acreage same exact home after he sold the 1st built n cape girardeau missouri $4500. Washington state SE corner 5200 sq ft 400 acres 3 big barns $9500. 8 acres and a single wide trailer between johnston city illinois and west frankfort illinois $3300 nothing else on the land. Cairo illinois a town of about 3000 men women and children saved, but at what cost, damages r expected to b $4Billion when letting the town go would have cost much less. 3000 people is high but u will get the idea 3000x$100,000=$300Million that is much less than $4B.
As you open your pockets for the next natural disaster, please keep these facts in mind: The American Red Cross President and CEO Marsha J. Evans salary for the year was $651,957 plus expenses. The United Way President Brian Gallagher receives a $375,000 base salary along with numerous expense benefits UNICE F CEO Caryl M. Stern receives $1,200,000 per year (100k per month) plus all expenses including a ROLLS ROYCE Less than 5 cents of your donated dollar goes to the cause The Salvation Army's Commissioner Todd Bassett receives a salary of only $13,000 per year (plus housing) for managing this $2 billion dollar organization. 96 percent of donated dollars go to the cause. The American Legion National Commander receives a $0.00 zero salary. Your donations go to help Veterans their families and youth!
1. $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year by state governments.
2. $22 Billion dollars a year is spent on food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens.
3. $2.5 Billion dollars a year is spent on Medicaid for illegal aliens. 4. $12 Billion dollars a year is spent on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word of English! 5. $17 Billion dollars a year is spent for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies. 6. $3 Million Dollars a DAY is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens. 7. 30% percent of all Federal Prison inmates are illegal aliens.
8. $90 Billion Dollars a year is spent on illegal aliens for Welfare & social services by the American taxpayers.
9. $200 Billion dollars a year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens.
10. In 2006, illegal aliens sent home $45 BILLION in remittances to their countries of origin. $ 338.3 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR AND IF YOU'RE LIKE ME, HAVING TROUBLE UNDERSTANDING THIS AMOUNT OF MONEY; IT IS $338,300,000,000.00 WHICH WOULD BE ENOUGH TO STIMULATE THE ECONOMY FOR THE CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY.
Dominion Virginia power has filed requests for 3 rate increases to help cover the cost of its warren county power station. The cost is $1.1B the CEO Thomas F Farrell II is paid and compensated over $10M a yr or $60M for 5 yrs. St Paul Minnesota plans to spend $300M to upgrade roads around where the new Vikings stadium is planned to be built. The Vikings has approx $200M a year in revenue, the owner and 5 partners bought the team in 2005 for $600M in 2009 its estimated value was $835M. Columbus Ohio and Penn National Gaming have reached a settlement where the casino will allow the city to annex them in, and the taxpayers will pay $15M to cover the cost of the developers cleanup and road improvements. Peter M. Carlino, CEO was compensated just shy of $9.5M in 2010. $14.398Bis approx what we spent or plan to spend in the near future or this month thanks to our elected officials on stadiums, new lawns, just to name a few.
If you have a story you would like to submit about taxes being spent to help a corporation while their CEO is compensated excessively, or taxes that are being spent on something that they are not intended for please do so.

may 2011 refreshment letter

TN $10 m in tax breaks from the city and the county for Amazon to build 2 DCs costing $139 m creating 1400 jobs. Gross profits for 2010 were $5.42 B for the 1st 3 quarters with one to go. Circuit City did a similar thing in a town near me, and now they are out of business. Why should we pick up the tax for these corporations, when they can obviously afford it? Tenn 15 year no tax for electrolux home products to build a 190m plant to employ 1240 people they save 38.7m. Memphis TN borrowed $22M to benefit a proposed electrolux appliance plant with another $150M from state, local, and federal subsidies. Memphis, TN could lay off 1400 workers cause of a $20-70M budget shortfall according to George Little CAO the amount depends on how they must pay $55M debt to schools.
A.L. the state retirement system invested $520 million into a Wise Alloys plant to allow it to grow. They are supposed to pay it back at 9% interest. Alab 30m def paying 17m with stimulus 4 school budgets. 55m received as bonus from fed for enrolling young people in its all kids health ins program. Etowah al, county commission pledged $3M to goodyear over the next 10 yrs if they employ 1400 people. Mobile $52M for a gulfquest maritime museum and ferry landing.
Illinois 3-5% state income tax increase or 66% for 4 yrs because of a supposed 15b defecit coupled with 2% limits on spending growth anything over will cancel tax increase. From what I have been able to gather on this matter illinois has a 55b budget of which about half of comes from the federal gov cauffers, which means the illinois gov needs about 28b to make budget. In a news article it stated illinois had 68b in rev in the 1st 6 months with 6 to go. So 40b from the 1st 6 months and let's just say 50b from the 2nd 6 months that = 90b the illinois gov is not accounting for.
$1.5B a year to Egypt. Fannie Mae $162M defending execs since America took over in 2008. US Territory Guam $445M for marine base and utilities at an air force base. NASA $753M or $63M per person from 2014 to 2016 for 12 US astronauts to fly to and from the international space station paid to the Russian government.
Alma Erwin $ 338.3 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR AND IF YOU'RE LIKE ME, HAVING TROUBLE UNDERSTANDING THIS AMOUNT OF MONEY; IT IS
$ 338,300,000,000.00 WHICH WOULD BE ENOUGH TO STIMULATE THE ECONOMY FOR THE CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY. Links and information about where this money is going is available on our blog which can be accessed through www.traprats.info.
Chickenlip, Monday on Fox news they learned that the staffers of Congress family members are exempt from having to pay back student loans. This will get national attention if other news networks will broadcast it. When you add this to the below, just where will all of it stop? Links and information about where this money is going is available on our blog which can be accessed through www.traprats.info
According to the Constitution of the US we are not to have more than 1 House
member for every 30,000 Americans. Whether our founding fathers saw our
population growing from 3,929,000 people in 1790 to nearly309 million in 2010 or not
I don’t know. One thing is for sure if we are to have the same amount of representation
that we had in 1790 of 1 rep for approx every37, 000 Americans, we the people in order to form a more perfect union will have to stand up to make it happen. We would need approximately 8335 members in the house to have the same amount of Representation as Americans had in 1790. In 2010 according to the US census report we have 1 house member for approx every 700,000 Americans, but the cost of that would exceed $374m a year, cause the average house members salary not including their expense account is $45,000 all the way to $200,000 a year. I’m not saying we should have more house reps, but as a nation we should decide that together, not let 435 members of the house, and decide for all of us.
Since 2006 our US border Patrol has had a 41% increase or 309 more incursions from 752 in
2006 to 1061 in 2010. We spent $50 B on foreign aid to countries around the world, for their security and whatever else they need. While our government budgeted a measly $5.77 B on US border security or ICE. Take a little time to talk to some people to find out how they feel, I have and the results that I have come up with are about 9 out 10 people think we as a nation should have a 1 voice 1 vote form of government, after all isn’t it our government who is always saying that our founding fathers could never have envisioned this country being what it is today.
I mean we can pick up a phone a talk around the world; we can talk to a man in space, if we would have had that ability in 1787 when the final constitutional convention was held, do you think it would have read differently, even if it were not written any differently, would you have wanted it written differently, I know I would have I am personally tired of letting a handful of people decide everything for me. If you like what is written here and want to spread the word taking this letter to the printer and print as many as you can afford, and hand them out as I did.

Memphis, TN could lay off 1400 workers cause of a $20-70M budget shortfall according to George Little CAO the amount depends on how they must pay $55M debt to schools. Salem, OR $34M spent on a 5 story courthouse square building has been determined to be unsafe it was built in 2000. Charleston, SC $5M spent on cell phones in the first 9 months of last year. Healthcare the 10th amendment powers not granted to the federal gov nor prohibited to the states by the constitution are reserved to the states or the people. Thomas Jefferson in 1798 first outlined the notion that states have the right to void federal laws that they think are contrary to the US Constitution. Montana gov. Schweitzer stated any act to nullify federal law is anti American and he would veto any bill that came across his desk to do so. Middletown, DE the Economic Development Office will award $2.06 to help with construction and equipment and a $385,000 jobs grant to Johnson’s Controls-Power Solutions Group for investing $60M in a new production and distribution center. CFO pay 225 hrs a year $228,000. Talks of cutting budgets haven't spurred any talks of cutting any foreign aid to the UN or other nations but they are cutting programs such as public broadcasting, family planning programs, N.A.SA., just to name a few. Dover, DE. Is spending $20M, for a new public library. Trenton, NJ cuts budget by 2.6% asks for more $ from state employees for their benefits and then giving $200M in tax cuts to businesses. Utah immigration bill what are they saying to Americans when they want to allow illegal immigrants to work in this country. What if we were to say illegals can run for public office? Kansas City, KS $7M for 47 buses that run on alternative fuel, compressed natural gas, at a cost of $148,937 each compared to Fargo, ND who bought 4 hybrid buses at $600,000 each a nice motor coach can be bought for that. Pierre, SD $2.8M for a 7500 sg. ft kitchen at a county prison at a cost of $373 per sg ft. NASA $753M or $63M per person from 2014 to 2016 for 12 US astronauts to fly to and from the international space station paid to the Russian government. Prior Lake, MN the mayor is considering returning a$2M surplus to taxpayers in the form of rebates. DC received a $20M for an evidence warehouse. Arkansas wants to cut $35M from grocery taxes and they say they can do that, have a balanced budget and adequately fund education. Upper Marlboro, MD. Is using a $50M fund to create jobs and increase the county's commercial tax base. Phoenix, AZ is using a $12M grant they received from federal coffers for 1000 low income homeowners to lower their utility bills by making their homes more energy efficient. Portland, MN is using a $28M in bonds to upgrade the 34 year old civic center. Hartford, CT is using $13.3M from federal coffers to lend to credit worthy small businesses. Salt Lake City, UT $15M federal grant for the states 1st liquefied natural gas station. Honolulu HA is spending $96,000 or $6000 each for 16 solar cameras. Let’s talk about cabs and some of their fares, I have seen some fares as high as $5 a mile plus tolls. What does a cab do? Drive someone from one place to another, maybe 3 people but the rate goes up for each and every person who gets in, carry a few bags. I know they provide a much needed service but the rates don’t fluctuate. Cabs fuel mileage is probably in the neighborhood of 20 to 25 mpg. Tires for a cab $75 to $100, an oil change $20 to $40, and an engine rebuild $1000 to $1500, licensing $100 to $500 a year. Anything over 8 hrs a day 40 hrs a week is overtime, and they also receive tips. Freight rates for hauling the products around the country in a commercial vehicle do fluctuate depending on what is being hauled and the loaded miles. Some of the freight we haul I personally have seen as cheep as .80cpm of which I get .35cpm fuel costing $4 a gallon, averaging 5.5mpg. .80cpm x 5.5mpg =$4.40 that leaves .05cpm to maintain the equipment hauling the things up and down our highways to the stores we buy it from. New tires for a 18 wheeler average $400 to $600 each, a oil change $200 to $300, a rebuild $13000 to $30000, licensing $1700 to $2500 a year, 14 hours a day, or as much as 88 to 100 hrs a week with no overtime. march 2011 newsletter

U. S. Geological Service issued a report in April 2008 that only scientists and oil men knew was coming, but man was it big. It was a revised report (hadn't been updated since 1995) in the western 2/3 of North Dakota, western South Dakota, and extreme eastern Montana, The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since Alaska 's Prudhoe Bay , and has the potential to eliminate all American dependence on foreign oil. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion barrels. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable... at $107 a barrel, we're looking at a resource base worth more than $5...3 trillion, because this is light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $16 PER BARREL!
That's enough crude to fully fuel the
American economy for 2041 years straight. Stansberry Report Online - 4/20/2006
Hidden 1,000 feet beneath the surface
of the Rocky Mountains lies the largest untapped oil reserve in the world. It is more than 2 TRILLION barrels. On August 8, 2005
President Bush mandated its extraction. In three and a half years of high oil prices none has been extracted. With this motherload of oil why are we still fighting over off-shore drilling?
They reported this stunning news: We have more oil inside our borders, than all the other proven reserves on earth.. Here are the official estimates:- 8-times as much oil as
Saudi Arabia

- 18-times as much oil as
Iraq

- 21-times as much oil as Kuwait
- 22-times as much oil as
Iran

- 500-times as much oil as
Yemen

We, as a nation, our government speaks of giving democracy to the world, but we don’t have it ourselves. China is a Republic, which is what America is now, though we don’t believe near as bad. When our founding fathers founded this country we needed a representative republic which is what we had, but not anymore. Today the ability to send email and communicate instantly around the world wasn’t even a thought in our founding fathers minds. Our government is always talking about amending the US Constitution because our founding fathers never could have envisioned this world and all its technology. We have the arguments they used to pass laws on us all the time, gun laws, seatbelt laws, helmet laws, insurance laws, though I agree with some I don’t agree with all, I just want a chance to have my voice heard, and not rely on someone to represent me. It is time for this country to evolve as all things do over time.

If an elected person can do what they want without consequence from the law, for instance if a politician is caught in a lie or deceitful act and gets a slap on the wrist then receives a presidential pardon when a pres leaves office. They are supposed to be the voice of the people lead by example; they should be willing to die for their country and the people they serve, not think the country and its citizens are here to serve them and their interests.

Etowah Al, county commission pledged $3M to Goodyear over the next 10 yrs if they employ 1400 people. Mobile, $52M for a Gulfquest maritime museum and ferry landing. A $5 fee on $ wired out of the US + a 1% for transfers over $500. Cincinnati, Oh. $128M for a streetcar line along a 5 mile loop with 21 stops. Ut 110000 illegal immigrants the pilot accountability permit program grants permits to illegals so they can work, pay taxes, get background check, be forced to leave the state if they lose their job. I say BS. Farmington Ut $19.6M Davis county memorial courthouse campus renovation, includes 3 story administrative office buildings, a main branch library, and a children's justice center, they will have to demolish 4 county buildings. Ogden, $2.4M toward a plan for a $38M sports complex. San Diego Ca $57M deficit but need 10 fire stations at a cost of $100M. DC William c smith wants $8M property tax abatement over 10 years to build a 375 apartment building. 12 regular council members make $125000 a year and the chairman $190000 the positions are part time. Most of the time, electors cast their votes for the candidate who has received the most votes in that particular state. Some states have laws that require electors to vote for the candidate that won the popular vote, while other electors are bound by pledges to a specific political party. However, there have been times when electors have voted contrary to the people's decision, and there is no federal law or Constitutional provision against it.

These newsletters are being written to unite america not just one part of say the industry I'm in of trucking, but many different walks of life. Just uniting the 1 walk of life or the other will invite terrorism charges against that group of people. But if many walks of life join together those charges don't. apply. We as an industry can be the voice of the people in a strike and also address our industries problems, but if we don't do it with the support of other walks of life we will b charged with terrorism. Because addressing just the problems of our industry we would be treated like the air traffic controllers holding the country hostage. But not if we have the support of many walks of life. My platform is a simple one for a presidential candidate, I will veto every bill that comes to my desk until one is put on my desk that says (let the people vote on the laws they live by and where their taxes go before it is signed into law). Now there is a chance they will not send that legislation immediately therefore I will have to veto it and they may over ride my veto, if they do over ride my veto that means they are not going to let me do what I was elected to do and you must remove them from office by force or suffer for another term at their hands.
This is the second month that I have written this newsletter all by myself I would appreciate a little help, for instance I heard a guy this week talking about things in and around cedar rapids iowa. pertaining to the local government adding taxes to allow for the building of stadiums but then charging the very same people who paid to build it to enter it.

I cant count the nuber of stroies Ive heard lately. let your voice be heard, at letyourvoicebeheard@traprats.info

on another note next months newsletter is shaping up to be a good one.

population growing from 3,929,000 people in 1790 to nearly309 million in 2010 or not
I don’t know.
Las Vegas, N.V. had a case where a supermarket refused to pay overtime to 119 employees. It was decided in court the business must pay nearly $170,000 in overtime pay. Could you imagine what would be owed to the truck drivers in this country? A 60 hour week 20 hours each 20 million drivers, though we all don’t get paid the same, let’s just say for the sake of argument company and owner operator make .50 cpm that would be .25 cpm x 20hrs or 1200 miles overtime cause we already got the rest, that would be $300 per truck per week or $6 billion per week, I have been driving for 15 yrs or 780 weeks = $234,000 before taxes. W.Y. 2 square miles of our GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK was recently sold to our federal government for $107 m. I don’t remember being asked. This is our land us Americans not for one state to sell to another or to a Government body; R.I. $1 million to refurbish a rundown part of a statehouse which is 107 years old. A.L. the state retirement system invested $520 million into a Wise Alloys plant to allow it to grow. They are supposed to pay it back at 9% interest; N.H. $2.3 m for compressed natural gas trash trucks; S.C. $12 m for eroding beaches 5 years ago now they want another $8 million. NJ A homeowner tries to sell his house only to have the mayor of the town block the sell, because the people who want to buy the property want to turn it into open space, by tearing down the house. The mayor is worried that others in town will want to do the same and this 1 house sold and torn down will cost the city $7000 a yr in tax loss.
